Q: What's the difference between LiteVPN basic and LiteVPN premium? Which one should I buy?
A: LiteVPN basic uses PPTP which is built in to most Operating systems. LiteVPN premium uses a client application that utilizes SSL technology to
connect to the internet. SSL is harder to block and is a alternative solution for ISP's that block PPTP and other protocols and applications. In most
situations LiteVPN basic will be sufficient however, Customer can upgrade to LiteVPN premium for additional protection and peace of mind.

Q: How does it work?
A: You use a VPN client to create a secure tunnel to its VPN Servers. Once connected, all of your traffic is encrypted. It no longer matters where you are using the internet from, no one will be able to spy on where you are going or what you are doing.

Q: Will VPN slow down my system or internet connection?
A: No, with our high speed servers you won't notice any slowness.

Q: Do I need an internet connection to use your service?
A: Yes, you need a regular internet connection to be able to use VPN service.

Q: Will my VPN connection be faster than my internet connection?
A: No, your speeds are limited by the size of your internet connection..

Q: Do you offer trial accounts?
A: No, we do not offer trial accounts for security reasons.

Q: What ports should be open on firewall/router for it to work?
A: No ports should be open, however your ISP must allow GRE protocol for LiteVPN basic. Most ISPs allow the protocols needed for all of our VPN packages. LiteVPN premium is harder to black and in most cases you won't experience any problems connecting to our VPN server from any location, please
contact us if you do.

Q: Does it also protect other protocols like ICQ, Mail or FTP.
A: Once you are connected to our VPN servers, all programs use an encrypted tunnel, which protects everything that accesses the internet on your
computer.

Q: What can I do if my provider blocked my VPN?
Q: What can I do if I need even more security and flexibility and better level of encryption.
A: In such cases customers are encouraged to upgrade to LiteVPN premium. This package works with any internet connection and offers the highest level of
encryption. For more information please clock here.

Q: Can I connect to my account from more than one computer?
A: Yes, with our service you can use it from as many different devices as you want. However, we only allow one simultaneous connection. Therefore, make
sure you logoff your original session before you use it from another location.

A: We support computers running windows 98, windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista, and also Mac OSX.

A: Absolutely. You can use any chat program such as AIM, icq, irc, play online games, view newsgroups, and much more.

Q: Which VPN protocols does your network support ?
A: We support both PPTP 128-bit encrypted (Point-To-Point Tunnel Protocol) and SSL 256-bit encrypted VPN.

Q: Can I access your secure network while I am travelling ?
A: Yes, you can our secure network from anywhere in the world, as long as you have internet access.

Q: Will my Internet Service Provider (ISP) or my company know where I have been surfing when I'm using your service ?
A: No. All your ISP or your company will see on their server logs is that you are connected to one of our servers. The internet sites you have been visiting will not show on their logs. And as the connection between your computer and our network is encrypted, they will have no knowledge of what you are looking at.

Q: How is it possible that others can eavesdrop my wireless internet connection while I am surfing in a public wireless hot-spot ?
A: Typically, the wireless connection between your laptop computer and a public hotspot Wireless Access Point (WPA), such as those found in airports, hotels, schools, fast food restaurants and coffee shops, etc., are not encrypted. Although the wireless connection between your laptop and a WPA can be protected by enabling the built-in encryption on the connection, a typical connection on a public WPA is not encryption enabled, as they are a free access service, and the establishment offering the free service wants to ensure trouble free connections for all their customers. This means anyone's computer equipped with a wireless modem (and with the appropriate software) in your vicinity can eavesdrop the wireless connection. They can see what you are doing.
