Windows 2000 LiteVPN PPTP client configuration

1.Click “Start”, then “Settings”, then “Network and dial-up connections”.

2.Select the “Make New Connection” icon.

3.Choose “Connect to a private network through the Internet”.

4.If you are using a dial-up connection, choose “Automatically” –dial the initial connection. When there is a permanent connection, like DSL or LAN, choose “Do not” –dial the initial connection.

5.Now fill out the DNS-name of the VPN server that was provided in your LiteVPN setup email.

6.Now you can choose to make the connection available to everyone, or just the current user.

7.Type in "LiteVPN" as the name of the connection. Click add a shortcut to my desktop.

8. Now you can login to LiteVPN. Please type in the username and password provided to you in your LiteVPN setup email. Click connect once you've entered this information.
